Must Have Passport
Visitors to Barbados must have a valid passport and valid return ticket. If you are not a citizen of Canada, the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), the UK or the USA you must have a visa to enter Barbados. Visas can be obtained from the Consulate General
of Barbados at Toronto.
Flight Time
Approximate flight time to Barbados from Toronto is 5 hours.
Airport Porters
Airport porters charge per bag for taking your luggage to the street after customs has been cleared.
Depature Tax
Departure Tax of BBD $55 (US $ 27.50) applies for all passengers over 2 years old leaving Barbados. Effective October 1, 2018 an additional fee has been added – passengers flying outside of the Caribbean region pay US$70 per person, and those flying within the Caribbean pay US$35 per person. Most airlines include this with the cost of the ticket, but check to be sure.
Dress
Wear appropriate clothing when shopping, visiting the Bank, having dinner, sightseeing or engaged in activities that are not on the beach or in the pool. Bathing suits are best for the beach, beach bars and the pool.
No Public Nudity
There are no nude beaches in Barbados and nudism is illegal.

All beaches in Barbados are open to the public.
Drugs are Illegal
Drug use is illegal.

Barbados Entry Requirements

- Evidence of personal support.
- A child under the age of eighteen (18) travelling without a parent/guardian must have a letter of authorization from a parent/guardian.
