The Donald Moore Unsung Heroes Awards 2025 As part of our annual Barbados National Heroes celebrations, we are seeking nominations to recognize persons of Barbadian heritage who reside in Canada and have excelled in their efforts to assist others either at work or in their community.
CRITERIA:
•RELIGIOUS WORKER (Priest, Server, Deacon, ELDER)
•PROTECTIVE WORKER (POLICE, Firefighter, Military Force)
•MEDICAL WORKER (RPN, RN, Doctor, Technician, Medical Assistant)
•COMMUNITY WORKER
•CIVIL / SOCIAL RIGHTS ACTIVIST
•SPORTSPERSON
•CREATIVE / CULTURAL PRACTITIONER
*REQUIREMENTS:
•Must be of age 18 years or older
•Must be able to prove Barbadian Heritage
•Must not have previously received official recognition
•Must be willing to be named and featured on our Social Media Platforms.
