$65,000 was the goal last night as the Barbados Canada Foundation hosted their annual Bring on the Spring event to support their donation drive to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Barbados. Chairman of the Board of Directors at the QEH Mr. Nigel Whitehall along with their Philanthropy Officer Ms. Gay Howell flew in from Barbados to attend the event. The Key Note Address was given virtually by Chief Justice of Barbados His Honour Sir Patterson Cheltenham and veteran entertainer Biggie Irie also flew in from Barbados to perform for the approximately 250 guests which included Barbados’ High Commissioner and Consul General to Canada along with the Honourable Michael Tulloch – Chief Justice of Ontario.
